Payment
Tuition payment
is due seven days in advance of the first day of the term or half term in order
to secure your time slot. You are of
course welcome to register at any time but we cannot guarantee the availability
of your existing or reserved time slot if you register after the tuition due
date. Please note that we cannot provide
a lesson without payment under any circumstances.
If you
would prefer to authorize three equal credit card payments occurring four weeks
apart, we are happy to offer this option.
Attendance
Musical
instruction is most effective when it is consistent. Your tuition payment reserves your time slot
for you exclusively, and that time remains reserved for you whether you choose
to attend your lesson or not. For this
reason, tuition is a flat fee and is not credited or refunded should you choose
to miss one or more lessons. Your
instructor is here, the lights are on, and operating expenses continue.
However,
students enrolled for the full term will qualify for one make-up lesson a term
if notification of an absence is provided in advance of the absence itself. The
make-up lesson will occur in a make-up week scheduled at the end (Week 13) of
every term, or at another time mutually agreed between instructor and student. Students who have attended all twelve lessons
in a term will have a break during Week 13 of the term. Under no circumstances
can a make-up lesson be provided in the event of a no call, no show absence.
Should
Fat Cat have to cancel a lesson during the term due to inclement weather,
instructor illness, or a scheduled holiday as indicated below, a make-up lesson
would also be provided to you during this week.
In the unlikely event of a store cancellation, we will alert you as quickly as
possible via phone using the number or numbers you provide to us at
registration.

Closing Thoughts
We truly
appreciate your interest in our program and we hope that you will make us part
of your musical adventure. We have a
saying here: We’re not in the business of selling guitars; we’re in the
business of creating guitar players.
This subtle but important difference informs everything we do. As a result, we are very proud to offer what
we feel is an exceptional level of instruction and service as well as a true
commitment to our students and passion for what we do. We genuinely want you to experience the
thrill and satisfaction of making music, and this is why we structure our
program in a way that delivers results as well as a whole lot of fun.
We want
YOU to play guitar!
